A workshop on eco-friendly Ganesh Chaturthi celebration

A workshop on eco-friendly celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi through proper disposal of flowers and leaves was conducted on 13th August 2025 for the students of CSIBER College Kolhapur. The workshop focused on the 21 herbs which are essential for the traditional Ganesh puja and decorations and environment-friendly disposal of the waste generated during the entire festival period. Various sessions were included during the workshop. The sessions were conducted by experts and arranged by the Gardens Club of Kolhapur in association with Sakal Tanishka Initiative for women empowerment.
