The Rotary Club of Kolhapur hosted its one-of-a-kind event, Cricmania 2026. This was the auction-based cricket tournament for the Rotarians, Anns, Annettes and Rotaractors. There were 8 different teams bought by the Rotarians of the club. 104 Players consisting of 55+ players, lady players, and male players, were divided amongst teams on the basis of points during the auction. 104 players/members participated in the tournament, and we had more than 180 visitors on the game day. This was a great bonding activity for the family and the club members. Inauguration of the event was done at the hands of District Governor Rtn. Arun D Bhandhare, in the presence of Assistant Governor Rtn. Harshawardhan Taywade-Patil and the sponsors of the tournament and closing ceremony was done at the hands of sponsor Rtn. Raosaheb Deshpande of Chalukya Group of Hotels, Rtn. Hirakanth Patil, our food partner of HP Group of Hotels, Rtn. Ashwin Keshwani of Rajakaka Electronics, Rtn. Nitin Wadikar of Maharashtra Engineers and Rtn. Sanjay Shete of Sunny Medicare LLP. Title sponsorship for the tournament was by Rtn. Vijay Menon. Rotary United Cricket Club were winner of the Cricmania 2026, owned by Ann. Jiya Zanvar and Rtn. Dr Pooja Sasurkar
